Application Process for Daniel Team Church Planter

The responsibility of a Daniel Team member is to work on a team of other church planters from various nations to start churches in places like Turkey, Iran, and Iraq. This would require learning a local language, sharing the message of Jesus Christ and teaching from the Bible, gathering people for Bible study, starting new churches, and training local leaders to be pastors. The initial term is for three years and after a break (3-6 months in home country) can be renewed for subsequent three-year terms.

Qualifications:

• Age 25-35
• Single male or married couple (married at least one year)
• If couple has children, children should be under nine years old.
• Have been a believer for at least four years
• Ongoing sense of God's leadership to cross cultural ministry
• Significant ministry experience; church planting experience preferred.
• Team leaders must have ability to communicate in English
• Willing to learn language and culture of people of target people
• Willing to commit to at least three years of ministry on the field
• In good health
